How to Get the Physique You Want at 50!

Staying fit at 50 comes with a set of challenges nobody warns you about. Strength fades faster than it used to. The scale stops telling you anything useful. Your knees have opinions. Sleep gets squeezed, time gets squeezed, and everywhere you look there's another person telling you the one thing you're doing wrong. Most of the advice out there assumes obstacles and challenges don’t come, but life isn’t perfect. So the plan falls apart, and it feels like starting over every time.

I put these six steps together from both sides of it: what I've learned as a trainer, and what I've lived as a woman who has kept a high level of fitness through a full life — thirty years plant-based, five kids raised, a full-time job, and a year now building toward my first fit model show. They're built on the same ideas I train by, and the same ones I give my clients. They're about knowing what matters, and having a plan that holds up on the weeks that don't go to plan.

The video walks through all six in about ten minutes, and how they fit together over twelve weeks. If any of this sounds familiar, that's where to start.

This is a guide for general fitness at 50 — a place to start, not a plan built for one person. It may not fit everyone's needs, and it's worth talking with your clinician before changing your training or nutrition.

This video is for educational purposes only and is not medical advice. Talk to your clinician before changing your training, nutrition, or supplements, especially if you have a medical condition or take medication.
